Dalit girl raped in UP

A dalit girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Vardah area here,
a senior officer said on Monday.

The girl, a minor, was allegedly raped by her neighbour last night
when her parents had gone out in connection with some work, Additional
Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumr Verma said.

An FIR had been lodged and efforts were on to arrest the rapist, he said.
